The Zensah Seamless Compression Shirt is like an under-jersey that disappears once it's on
|
I have a few under-jersey pieces that are mesh and essentially float against my skin. I wear these because they still prevent my jersey from clinging to me and in general, I feel cooler when I have two layers on rather than one. There's science to support this as well, but for me it's not about science, it's about comfort. And speaking of comfort, rather than the aforementioned loose Ts and tanks I've been slowly switching over to compression tops. For one thing, these don't swim against me or shift uncomfortably. Better still, tops like Zensah's Seamless Compression Shirt ($40) don't let sweat pool in any one area, so I feel that I'm cooled more uniformly. And this layering piece is truly seamless; all parts of the garment are heat welded together, with more breathable panels down the center of your spine, at your pits, and down the sides under your arms. I've tried long- and short-sleeve versions and I like them both. And Zensah items don't retain odor after washing.
