Running show recap: Meet the super comfy sports bra that may change your running life

From: NYDaily NewsI nearly missed Jackrabbit's running show, but thankfully I didn't because in the 30 minutes I spend trolling by vendor stalls I discovered the Holy Grail of
sports bras.
The wonder sport support is made by Miami-based brand Zensah, which you may know for arm and
calf compression sleeves, but the
bras and
running tanks are new.
I didn't even realize my other sports bras, Adidas and Moving Comfort, were in any way uncomfortable until I tried this one. Immediately they seemed tight and restrictive in the manner of a "Gone with the Wind" - style whalebone corset.
The Zensah fabric is soft and seamless with pucker stitching - almost like fancy gown ruching - that allows for max mobility. Plus that, it comes in fun colors - I picked up florescent pink, neon yellow and deep purple.
The fabric also has some scientific stuff going on: it's anti-microbial and thermo-regulated to help keep you cool. I road-tested the pieces this weekend in New Mexico in 80-degree weather and never felt sweaty (it's arid here, but still).
Vendor Ze'ev Feig told me he designs the line with his wife with the goal of crafting the most comfy bra on the market. This comfort does not come especially cheap - the bra cost $36 - but I really think it lives up to its tagline of "most comfortable"
That said, I should note I'm not the bustiest of runners, so I can't say how it will work for larger ladies on the market for maximum support. I ran two days in a row in total comfort with no bounce, but also no sense of constriction.
I have some friends who wear two sports bras at a time to achieve the max-smash affect and eliminate all bouncing - the Zensah is not a boob-smasher, but maybe try it anyway? If it's a universal winner, the women of the running world should know!
