...but if I wear compression socks under them they're perfect. My neurologist recommended I try them to help with my balance problems and dizziness related to Parkinson's Disease. I'll be buying another pair or two soon, but a size up. The S/M are not only short, but I would like them to come up well over my hips as they tend to slide down because they barely reach my hips. I'm a thin 5'8" and 142 lbs. They're excellent quality, supportive, and comfortable, exceeding my expectations.
Used this for my spartan race. Felt great.
I have tried lots of compression tights and these are the best. I have bought several pairs. However, if they had a better waist bad that would stay up and offered an even bigger size, they would be perfect.
I wore these for a Grand Canyon hike and they felt really great. They were long for me because I am short, but I actually think that helped with the comfort factor. I would most definitely buy these again, especially in a women's size. They were warm and comfortable, when I got to the bottom of the canyon with the temps being at 80 degrees, they were breathable and didn't make me sweat. Huge plus.
This are the best base layer compression tights! The material is soft and comfortable. Easilywore under pants or tights, butI love them so muchI have wore them as my only layer. They are simply awesome!
I got these tights for my husband. He likes the fit and the compression, though he stated he wishes the rise was a little higher - whenever he bent over or sat down the tights would slip halfway down his ***. He stated they rode a little low on runs too but didn't necessarily slip in that instance. He was definitely a fan of the compression/breathability and the overall feel of the tights, though he had to refer to the product photo to figure out which side was the front!
So I might just be the wrong size / shape for these, but when they say base layer, a) they definitely mean these should be worn under something, and b) these unfortunately don't have any compression. I'm 5'3 125lb and pretty stout in the hips and thighs, but these were still pretty baggy on me. The only thing that's tight is the 1" elastic on the waist, which rides high. These are comfy enough to wear at home, but I won't be working out in them nor wearing them in public anytime soon.
