I bought a top about 40 years ago. Could only get men's top and had to cut in my own thumbholes...nothing has changed. Material is quality; love the style; keeps me warm but not sweaty on my hikes. (just finished 6 mile hike in 11 degrees wind chill in Chicago.
Only complaint: when will Zensah make these for women????
I'm 5'7.5", 130 lbs. I walk, hike, bike and kayak and Total Gym it. This top is comfortable, stylish and, when outdoors, (I feel) it blocks cold when worn with Smartwool sweater (20-30 degree weather).
I've owned Z tops going back 30-40 years. Quality can't be bet.
Love Zensah products. I purchased multiple times and though the build of the compression shirts from before to now are slightly different, I am equally comfortable with both. I still use the old ones but I loaded up this time during sale at $42 as opposed to $65. Worth at both price points.
This base layer might as well be what you wear to your Avengers audition because it will make you look like superhero :) The stretch fit is great and really makes you feel secure and ready for anything. I wore it the other day for a 40 degree run and I didn't feel like I needed any extra layers, it kept me warm the whole time. I also wear it when I do HIIT training, as the moisture wicking, quick drying material keeps me from slipping all over the mat (and grossing out others with my sweat).
excellent shirt, as described. The fabric feels very soft and also holds very firm with good well-balanced compression level.
It breathes nicely on long walks in warm weather, comfortable even if hot, and is nicely reflective at sunset.
I use this shirt for my indoor Jazzercise classes, which combine cardio and strength. This shirt has compression without feeling "squeezed" with the exception of the neckline which I would have liked to have a larger circumference. I bought a medium and always wear mediums in Zensah products, so this shirt fits true to size.
Even at XL, I wish the sleeves were a tad longer, and the shirt itself were longer too. A tail, or a little more length to the back part of the shirt, would be great too. If it had a banded Collar or mock turtleneck neckline then it would be better suited for those brisk morning runs. I’m not a fan of the hex nut reflective accents on the sleeves. Why not use a long stripe along the ulnar surface?
