The Zensah socks that I've bought over the years do indeed provide excellent support, BUT almost all [maybe all?] have a very tight band at the top of the sock. Those bands might have been designed as an extra assist to hold up the socks during strenuous activities, but they have been too tight for me to wear all day. Note: I have bicyclist calves, so maybe not an issue for others,
BUT this pair of socks - the Match Point Tennis sock does not have that band in excess. Unlike the other Zensah socks that I've worn, this sock provides good but not excessive support. Unlike the compression socks I've worn, the Tennis sock can be worn all day without discomfort. Also, it stays up well; so no top tight band needed.
I didn't really intend to buy this sock - just filled out an order [postage was the same] for a flip-flop sock [which is also a very good sock]. Surprising to me, this sock is the best Zensah that I've worn.
It washes well. I can't speak to how well it does in the dryer because I use a four-string solar dryer, yep, a clothesline. It's a bit large [no problem]; I will order the same size and and sock again.
I bought these for my dad and he is officially a fan of Zensah. He loves the thicker sole compared to other name brand socks he had been wearing which had been threadbare and hole-y. He can already tell it's a higher quality material compared to the name brand ones that are still new and unworn. Way to go Zensah!
