Thanks to Zensah for bringing to the market these Alpaca no shows. Correct amount of warmth, especially with the A/C on in the summer months. Great socks.
My favorite socks are featherweight, and I also love the limited edition socks. So I tend towards lighter socks. I tried them out in a rainy day. When I first put them on, I noticed how thick they are. They’re thicker than the other two types of Zensah socks I wear. So those who like thick/cushion - you’ll be happy. For those like me, good news. I did not notice the thickness at all while running. They felt great. It was as you want socks - not noticeable. More than that, I thought I wouldn’t be able to report on how they did with water because the rain was steady but not heavy and my feet weren’t that wet. Then I took my shoes off and realized they were actually quite wet! The alpaca did its job, and I didn’t feel the rain. My feet felt great the whole run. So the alpaca socks get 5 stars from me! I definitely will wear them often, and not just in the rain. In fact, these may be my go-to got Olympic distance and higher triathlons.
I can't think of the last time I wore a sock that's made in USA, so I was happy to see this alpaca sock. I'm training for some fall marathons and it was perfect for my longer runs as I like wearing my leg sleeves for those so the height is perfect. Thanks, Zensah!
I've never used an alpaca wool running sock before but I'm a big fan of the Grit/Grit 2.0 styles and so I was excited to give it a try. To sum up: I loved it! it felt similarly wicking and anti-blister! I definitely will have this sock as a part of my training routine from now on!
First time ordering from Zensah. I ordered both Alpaca Tab Running Socks & Wool 2.0 Running Socks both in size L. I am a size 12.5 and pretty much buy all my socks in a size L and don't have any issues, The wool 2.0 socks were a perfect fit. The Alpaca socks were too tight and almost felt as if there were a size too small.
